Hide your website but keep share links

Keep your public website out of sight while the links you hand out (gatherings, forms, checkout, portals) keep working.

Sometimes you want to run things privately: no public home page, but your people can still register, book and pay through the links you send them. That is what this switch is for.

Steps

  1. Open Website > Brand kit.
  2. In the Public website card, leave Publish public site on.
  3. Turn on Hide the website, keep share links.
  4. Press Save public site.

What visitors see

Your home page, page menu, blog and listings show “not available”.

Every link you hand out keeps working:

  • a gathering
  • a form
  • the referral page
  • a 1:1 session type
  • a course
  • a product, the cart and checkout
  • the portals (like My account and your community)

Turn your website back on

Go back to Website > Brand kit, turn off Hide the website, keep share links, and press Save public site. Everything shows again.

Good to know

  • Keep Publish public site on. That switch turns your whole public website off, and its address shows “not available”.
  • Want to keep just one gathering or course off your listings? Turn off Show on public site on that item instead. Anyone with its link can still sign up. This switch hides the whole site at once.
  • Nothing is deleted. Your pages, blog posts and settings are all still there, just out of sight.
  • Want a single page hidden instead? Open it in Website > My pages and switch it to a draft. See Build your first page.
