Create a coupon

Make a discount code for your gatherings, 1:1 sessions, memberships, courses, bundles or shop.

A coupon is a code people type at checkout to get money off. Use one to welcome new clients, thank your regulars, or give a group a special rate.

Steps

  1. Open Selling > Coupons and click New coupon.
  2. Type a Code, like WELCOME10. Codes are saved in capital letters.
  3. Add a Description so you remember what it’s for.
  4. Choose a Type: Percent off or Fixed amount off, and enter how much.
  5. Optional: set an Expires date and Max uses. Leave Max uses empty for unlimited.
  6. Under Applies to, choose:
    • Everything I sell: any paid gathering, 1:1 session, membership, course, bundle or shop item.
    • Only what I pick: tick the exact offerings it covers.
  7. Leave Active on and click Create coupon.

Share it

Tell people the code, or click the send icon on the coupon’s row to email it to a customer. Everyone you’ve sent it to is listed there, with a Resend button. Buyers type the code in the discount box when they book or check out.

Good to know

  • A weekly class shows once in the picker, under “Recurring gatherings”. Tick it and the code covers every date, including dates you add later.
  • A code limited to certain offerings is refused at checkout on anything else.
  • Switch Active off to pause a code without deleting it. Inactive codes are refused at checkout.
  • Percent off goes up to 100%.
  • Paid offerings need Stripe for card payments. See Connect Stripe to take card payments.
