Memberships and class packs

Sell a class pack your clients use up over time, or a membership that renews every month or year.

Two things live here. A class pack is a block of classes bought once (some hosts call it a class pass). A membership renews every month or year and can include classes and 1:1 sessions.

Create a class pack

  1. Open Scheduling > Memberships and packs. On the Plans tab, click New plan.
  2. Set Type to Class pack. Give it a Name (like 10-class pack) and a Price.
  3. Enter How many in the pack and choose Counted in: Sessions or Classes.
  4. Under What this pack pays for, tick the classes and 1:1 session types it covers. A weekly class is one line and covers every date, even dates added later.
  5. Add a Description and a Cover image, then click Create plan.

Create a membership

  1. Click New plan and set Type to Subscription (recurring).
  2. Set the Price and choose Billed: Monthly or Annually.
  3. Under What this membership includes, tick the classes and 1:1 sessions members get without paying. Leave the number empty for unlimited, or set how many they get each month (each year, for annual plans).
  4. Optional: under Commitment, set Minimum months and Notice to cancel (days).
  5. Click Create plan.

Share it

Copy membership page link copies a page that shows every active pack and plan, each with its own buy button. The copy icon on a plan’s row links straight to that one.

Members use their pack or membership by clicking Use my class pass on a class page, or the sign-in button on the booking form. They enter their email and the 6-digit code that arrives.

Good to know

  • Memberships need Stripe. See Connect Stripe to take card payments. Class packs also work with manual payment.
  • A pack only works on classes that take one. If you see “can’t be used yet”, click Let packs pay for classes: every group class, now and later, then takes one class from a pack.
  • Below the plans, Where a pack can be used lets you set this class by class. Mark a higher-priced gathering Card only and pack holders pay the ticket price for it.
  • On the Members tab you can Add member, Import CSV, Add by tag, or adjust someone’s pack. For a membership, the menu on the member’s row has Pause payments, Cancel at period end and Cancel now.
  • Classes included in a membership don’t carry over to the next billing period.
