Read your email stats

See how many emails went out, how many were opened and clicked, and why some didn't send.

Your email stats show everything your business sent by email in one place: newsletters, campaigns, funnels, session emails, booking confirmations, receipts and more.

See your stats

  1. Open Marketing > Email. Your email stats is at the top.
  2. Pick a date range in the top right: Last 7 days, Last 30 days, Last 90 days or This year.
  3. Read the numbers across the top:
    • Sent and Delivered: how many went out and reached an inbox.
    • Open rate and Click rate: how many people opened the email and clicked a link.
    • Bounced: addresses that couldn’t take the email.
    • Marked as spam: people who reported it.
    • Not sent: emails that were held back, with the reason underneath.
    • Unsubscribed: people who chose to stop getting your emails.
  4. Below that, the table has one row per newsletter, campaign, funnel and kind of email. Click a name to open it.

Stats for one email

  • Open a sent newsletter or campaign from Marketing > Email > Newsletters or Campaigns. The Engagement card shows its opens and clicks, Clicks by device and Links people clicked.
  • For a funnel, open it and go to the Results tab.

Good to know

  • Opens and clicks read Not counted yet until the tracking record for your domain is added and verified. They only count email sent after that. Add it on the Send from your own domain card. See Send email from your own domain.
  • Some email apps open messages automatically, so open rates can run high. Clicks are the steadier number.
  • Not sent tells you why: people without email permission, people who unsubscribed, emails waiting on a sending domain, or emails that could not be sent.
  • People who bounce or mark you as spam are removed from future sends automatically. Keep it that way by not adding them back.
  • Seeing a lot of “without email consent”? Those contacts haven’t agreed to receive emails. Turn on email consent on a contact’s record only when they’ve said yes.
  • Your date range choice is remembered the next time you open the page.
