Your free site address (yourname.colibrios.app)

Find, share or change the free address your website gets on ColibriOS.

Every ColibriOS website gets a free address of its own, like yourname.colibrios.app. Your site works there straight away, so you can share it long before you buy a domain.

Find your address

  • On your Dashboard, the Your website is live at card shows it, with Copy and View site buttons.
  • Or open Website > Brand kit and look at Site address. The part you type comes before .colibrios.app.

Change your address

  1. Open Website > Brand kit.
  2. In Site address, type the new name. Use lowercase letters, numbers and dashes.
  3. Press Save public site.
  4. Read the warning, then press Change the address to confirm.

Good to know

  • Changing your address breaks every link you’ve already shared to the old one: in emails, social posts and your community invite. There’s no redirect. ColibriOS fixes the buttons on your own pages, but it can’t fix links out in the world, so pick a name you’ll keep.
  • Each address must be unique. If yours is taken, try another.
  • Don’t clear the box. Your website, community link, member and student portals, blog, checkout links and calendar feed all find your workspace by this address, and clearing it takes them offline. Putting the address back restores everything.
  • Older links that look like colibrios.com/s/yourname still work.
  • Site not showing? Check that Publish public site is switched on, on the same tab. If something else is missing, the Dashboard shows Your website isn’t live yet with a Take my site live button.
  • Want to run things privately? You can hide the website and keep your share links working. See Hide your website but keep share links.
  • Want a name of your own, like yourstudio.com? Your free address keeps working after you add one. See Buy a domain inside ColibriOS or Connect a domain you already own.
