Have Colibri build or change a page

Tell Colibri what you want on your website, and it builds a new page or edits one you already have.

You don’t need to drag boxes around to change your website. Tell Colibri what you want in plain words, and it builds a new page or changes the one you have.

Steps

  1. Open Website in the menu. The My pages tab opens with a big box at the top: What should Colibri do? The same box sits on your Dashboard.
  2. Type what you want. For example: “Build me a sales page for my spring retreat”, “Change my homepage headline” or “Make my about page warmer”.
  3. Have a design you made somewhere else, like a Canva export or a screenshot? Drag it into the box, or press the picture button. You can add up to 4 PNG, JPG or WebP images.
  4. Press Enter or the arrow button. Colibri works on it and replies right under the box.
  5. Check what came back:
    • A new page arrives as an unpublished draft. Click its card to open it, look it over, then publish it when you’re happy.
    • A change to a page you already have saves right away. If that page is published and your site is on, visitors see it at once. Press View page or Open in Website on the card to check it, and Undo to put it back.
    • A suggestion for your built-in website words shows as a Website copy proposal. Press Apply to my website to use it.

Good to know

  • Colibri takes a snapshot before every change, so Undo always works. In the page editor, History lists every saved version of a page so you can restore an older one.
  • Colibri can edit pages you imported from another site too, changing words and photos without touching the look.
  • Press Start over at the top of the box to clear the conversation. It’s the same conversation as the Colibri button in the corner.
  • Each request uses AI actions: 1 for a message, 5 when you attach images. See How AI actions work.
  • Colibri writes in your voice from your Business Blueprint, so fill that in first.
  • Want a whole site at once? Start from a ready-made template, or see Build your first page.
